Mia is a certified personal trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine and is currently pursuing a certificate in Nutrition and Body Image. In the past she has been both an intern and front desk assistant at Uptown Fitness helping us write our Workout of the Day and shadowing training sessions. Her approach is holistic: she focuses on the intersection of physical and mental health and works with her clients to achieve a positive mindset around their body, food, and training. Her style is versatile but she mostly works on strength training and HIIT circuits with her clients. Outside of the gym Mia is a graduate student at the Tulane School of Social Work and loves to walk her dogs in the park, listen to podcasts, read, and paint.
